Staging Shakespeare: The Histories (for alumni only)

July 3-8, 2017 (no class July 4)

 

The one-week workshop focus on the problems inherent in staging Shakespeare’s plays, including blocking, scene and character analysis, and verse. The course also includes best practices in curriculum development resulting from previous Huntington summer Shakespeare institutes, as well as work in voice, movement and relaxation techniques. Prerequisite: successful completion of "Shakespeare at the Huntington" summer institute.
