Led by botanical artist Lisa Pompelli, this class will focus on the rendering of trees from field sketching in the gardens and class time learning drawing techniques, observational skills, and the fundamentals of tree architecture. Enjoy tea with Beatrix Potter, creator of Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, and their friends. Over the teacups, Potter (portrayed by actor Judith Helton) will share stories from her own life that inspired her well-loved tales, and members of the Beatrix Potter Society will read selected stories.
