Join Chinese brush painting instructor Peifang Liang for a hands-on workshop inspired by the Year of the Dragon and the Dragon Boat Festival, an annual Chinese celebration in which brightly colored, dragon-shaped boats are raced in rivers across China. Learn about this exciting holiday while using traditional Chinese brush painting materials to create a masterpiece of your own!

  • All ages welcome, but workshop instruction is recommended for children ages 6–12.
  • Fee includes the use of painting supplies for one child and one accompanying adult, as well as admission to The Huntington.
  • You may also purchase your own Chinese Brush Painting Kit to use during class and take home for $15.99. (Painting kits available as an add-on when registering. Kits will be distributed at the beginning of class.)
