Classes

Drawing inspiration from the exhibition “The Hilton Als Series: Njideka Akunyili Crosby,” this family-friendly program begins in the gallery with a brief talk about Los Angeles–based artist Njideka Crosby’s collage-based paintings and ends with a workshop, where children can create their own self-portrait collage exploring themes of identity, history, and place. All materials are provided, but children are welcome to bring additional pictures and mementos for their collage that hold special meaning for them. For children 7 and up. Fee includes one child plus one accompanying adult and all materials. Includes admission to The Huntington.
