Art Collection Internships

The Huntington Art Collections offers unpaid internships throughout the year. Depending on departmental needs, interns may work in a variety of capacities helping curators and registrars with research, cataloging and object-housing projects.  Administrative assignments are also available.

Applications for summer internships are no longer being accepted. Applications for fall and spring internships are considered as they are received. To apply, please send a cover letter and CV to Elizabeth Clingerman, Assistant to the Director of the Art Collections. The cover letter should set out your immediate and long-term goals and specify your dates of availability.

Preference will be given to upper level students studying a relevant discipline; preference may also be given to those with interest in pursuing a career in the museum field.
