Youth and Family Programs
At The Huntington, kids and families learn from "the real thing," be it a personal letter in George Washington's own handwriting, a priceless 18th century cabinet with secret compartments, or a strange carnivorous plant that eats bugs. The Huntington's Youth and Family Programs offer one-day workshops, pre-school series, weekend festivals, and even week-long day camps.
Family Workshops
Workshops are scheduled bi-monthly and allow youngsters an opportunity to learn from the experts and try their own hands at projects such as flower arranging, creating bonsai trees, planting succulent dish gardens, paper making, constructing a plant and flower press, bread making, or creating a terrarium.
