 | Is there a particular location at The Huntington for weddings and receptions? |
Any outdoor garden area is open for consideration, limited only by logistics (especially the number of guests). The massed blooms of the Rose Garden; the traditional bridges, lake, and pavilions of the Chinese Garden; the Gilded Age formality of the North Vista fountain and statuary, and the timeless, sweeping views from the South Terrace are just some of the many choices available to reflect your unique personalities and your families’ traditions and heritage. Our 207-acre property includes many other options to fulfill your wedding visions.
 | Are there any available spaces indoors? |
| The South Terrace of the Huntington Art Gallery and the magnificent covered Loggias of both the Huntington Art Gallery and the Scott Galleries of American Art are available. In addition, most of our lawns are suitable for tents. Interior spaces, such as the art galleries or the Library, are not available for weddings or receptions, although they may be made available, by pre-arrangement, for your guests to tour.
 | What does it cost? |
| Because we can accommodate only a very few wedding events each year, our site fees have been designed to further support enriching experiences in art, history, and literature for all visitors; and to ensure you and your guests an extraordinary wedding experience of remarkable cachet. Ceremony Only: $30,000 Reception Only: $80,000 Ceremony and Reception: $100,000

What do the fees include?
| All fees include scheduled access for vendor set-up and tear-down; scheduled access for guests on the day of the event; parking for guests and vendors, security by The Huntington, facilities and maintenance personnel; a Wedding Portrait Session on the day and an Engagement Portrait Session up to 90 days prior to the event date. Fees do not include catering, photography, music and entertainment, flowers, rentals, tents, supplemental security, if required, and cost of event planner. Guest access to gallery spaces is an optional extra.
 | Can I tour the property to see the available locations?
| Yes. Qualified professional wedding planners may bring clients for escorted site inspections, by appointment. You can also visit the gardens on your own anytime during public hours (regular admission fees apply). |
 | What is the capacity?
| Capacity varies depending on the selected location. Some, like the North Vista or the Australian Lawn, can accommodate very large, grand events. Smaller areas, like the Japanese or Desert Gardens are ideal for smaller, more intimate celebrations.
 | How do I book? |
| All wedding events must be booked through a qualified professional wedding planner.
 | I already have a wedding planner. Do I still have to use one of yours? |
| We recommend the use of our Preferred Planners because they present the highest standards of event planning and fulfillment. However, if you prefer to use another planner, please have them review our Qualified Professional Wedding Planner Requirements and contact us directly for more information. |

| Am I restricted to any preferred caterers or vendors?
| The Huntington does have preferred caterers and vendors. In most cases you have the option to choose your own, but additional restrictions will apply.

| May I take my wedding photos at The Huntington if I am getting married and having my reception elsewhere? |
| Yes. Wedding, engagement, family, and other portrait photography sessions of up to 3 hours may be scheduled; advance reservations are required. Location fees, permits, and certain restrictions apply. For details and fees contact portraitphoto@huntington.org (The Huntington does not provide the photographer.)
