Events at The Huntington
Huntington is available for special events hosted by individuals and
organizations who have demonstrated a significant financial commitment
to the preservation of the institution and its mission. When your
special event is approved, The Huntington staff will do everything
possible to assist you in achieving your goals for the event. Due to
the special nature of the institution, there may also be a need to work
with a variety of Huntington-approved vendors.

The Huntington offers full-service catering services as well as event design & décor assistance. Who may hold events at The Huntington?
who currently support The Huntington with a membership in the Society
of Fellows at a level of $2,500 or more annually. Individual Fellows
may only host private functions at The Huntington and cannot host
Corporate events with their individual membership. More information on the Society of Fellows.
Corporations must currently support The Huntington as a Corporate Partner at the $5,000 level or higher. More information on becoming a Corporate Partner.
groups may hold events at The Huntington without holding a Corporate
membership. Such use is subject to the approval of The Huntington.
Please note that The Huntington does not allow fund-raisers for any
Special Event Fees
The Huntington charges a Use Fee for each space. Use fees vary on location, and prices range from $500 to $10,000. Actual
charges incurred by The Huntington Library for security, maintenance,
and event supervision are estimated separately in advance. Please
note that there is a $10 charge for each guest in addition to the noted
Facility Use Fee unless otherwise indicated. A non-refundable deposit
of 50% of the Facility Use Fee is required. The balance and charges
incurred will be billed following the event. The Huntington requires a
signed contract and evidence of Liability Insurance for each event.
Huntington does not currently host religious ceremonies, political events, or outside fund-raisers. All
events are subject to The Huntington's prior approval.
