Chinese New Year Festival
Celebrate the lunar new year and welcome the Year of the Dragon at the Chinese New Year Festival at The Huntington. This family-friendly event features lion dancers, a mask-changing artist, martial arts demonstrations, music, art and craft demonstrations, and more. Festivities take place in and around the Chinese Garden and other performance spaces.
Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 10 and 11, 2024 | 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

- No tickets will be sold onsite. Advance online tickets must be purchased or reserved for all visitors and Members. Capacity is limited.
- Event is rain or shine. Programming is subject to change without notice.

- Lion dancers by Northern Shaolim Kung Fu
- Bian Lian (Mask Changer) by Wei Qi Zhong
- Martial arts performances by the Shaolin Temple Cultural Center USA
- Chinese Floral Arts Displays
- Calligraphy demonstrations by artist Tang Qingnian
- Chinese dining specials at the Red Car Coffee shop, 1919 Cafe, and Jade Court Cafe
- Food trucks, including Rice Balls of Fire, The Tropic Truck, Magic Hibachi, Westside Banh Mi, and Drizzle
