Family Fridays: Movie Nights at The Huntington

Bring your picnic baskets, gather family and friends, and get ready for a series of thrilling adventure films under the stars.

Fri., Aug. 2 | 7 p.m.

Luca (2021), PG | A young sea monster boy, who can become a human on land, explores the Italian Riviera town of Portorosso with his new best friends, Alberto and Giulia.

Fri., Aug. 16 | 7 p.m.

Tangled (2010), PG | Rapunzel, a lost princess with long magical hair, has been locked in a tower for almost 18 years. With the help of bandit Flynn Rider, she escapes with her frying pan into a world full of adventure.

Fri., Sept. 13 | 6:30 p.m.

Jurassic Park (1993), PG-13 | Paleontologists Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler join mathematician Ian Malcolm to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. After a security breach, the ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.

Important Notes

  • The event takes place on the Library Lawn.
  • No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are nonrefundable.
  • Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the check-in window.
  • Restrooms are available in the Education and Visitor Center and in the Huntington Art Gallery.
  • Picnicking is allowed on the lawn. No outside alcohol is permitted. Concessions will be available for purchase.
