Volunteer
Requirements
- Adult volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer service per month for 6 months or 1 year, depending on the assignment. Some assignments allow for flexible self-scheduling, while others, like gardening, ask for a weekly 3-hour shift.
- Teen volunteers are asked to commit to a weekly 2-hour assignment for a 4-month term with the potential to participate in additional terms.

Teen Volunteers
We accept applications from prospective teen volunteers as early as 14 years old. Our active teen program is available year-round, with terms commencing in February, June, and September. Following the submission of their application, applicants will be notified of how to sign up for the next available triannual group interview.
What to Expect
Step 1 Attend a Volunteer Information Session (new sessions in September 2024.)
Step 2 Complete a Volunteer Interest Form to let us know which volunteer position you are interested in.
Step 3 Attend an interview session. If selected, you will be asked to complete an application and create a volunteer profile. Please note that we receive a high volume of candidates and cannot place everyone.
Step 4 Attend Volunteer Orientation.
Step 5 Attend Onboarding and Training Day
