The European decorative arts collection includes examples of ceramics, furniture, glass, metalwork, and textiles ranging in date from the 15th through the 20th centuries. Among the strengths are French decorative arts of the 18th century, including Sèvres porcelain, furniture, and tapestries, and objects representing the late 19th- and early 20th-century British Design Reform movement, including designs produced by the William Morris Firm.
