About the Organization

California Bonsai Society is a nonprofit organization formed in 1950 and incorporated in 1962 by bonsai artists to ensure the continuation of this special art form. Throughout the year, the organization sponsors demonstrations of aspects of the art of bonsai by the leading figures in global bonsai.
