Culinary Workshop: Snow Skin Mooncakes

Learn how to make snow skin mooncakes—a mochi-like treat—while discovering the rich history and traditions behind this beautiful confection.
Classes

Despite their traditional association with the Mid-Autumn Festival in the fall, mooncakes of all varieties are delicious any time of year! Learn the rich history and traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival while learning to make the traditional Chinese mooncake’s contemporary, mochi-like cousin: the snow skin mooncake. Instructors Rachel and Erika will guide you through making your own beautiful confections and give you tips for getting creative with flavors, textures, and color.
