Educator Open House: Making Shakespeare Relevant 

To attend or not to attend, that is the question! Learn about Shakespeare’s First Folio, his family ties, and visit the Shakespeare Garden, to discover engaging teaching strategies with Huntington experts.

Celebrate National Poetry Month with this half-day conference all about the bard himself, William Shakespeare. Hear from Huntington curator Sarah Francis about Shakespeare’s First Folio and learn about Shakespeare’s sisters from assistant director of research Shannon McHugh. Discover ways to make Shakespeare exciting and relevant to your students and connect with peers over lunch. Stay after the workshop to immerse yourself in the Shakespeare Garden!

  • To receive a refund, you must cancel at least 5 days prior to the event. Cancellations made within 5 days of the event will not be refunded.
