Family Fridays: Movie Nights at The Huntington - Turning Red

Experience the magic of the movies at The Huntington, featuring “Turning Red” outdoors!

A 13-year-old girl named Mei Lee is torn between being her mother’s dutiful daughter and facing the changes of adolescence. As if these challenges were not enough, whenever she gets overly excited, she transforms into a giant red panda.

Bring a picnic dinner (no outside alcohol allowed). Concessions available for purchase from our Movie Night vendors.

Movie Schedule:

6:30 p.m. - Doors open

7:15–9:15 p.m. - Movie

Important Notes

  • No tickets will be sold at the door. Please reserve your tickets online.
  • Maximum of 8 tickets per transaction.
  • Picnicking allowed on the lawn. No outside alcohol is permitted. Concessions will be available for purchase.
  • Event will take place on the East Lawn in front of the Library.
  • Please bring your own blankets and low, beach-style folding chairs. (Please avoid high-backed chairs that would obstruct viewing for others. Those who have chairs with a seat height over 12 inches may be asked to sit with their party in a designated area.)
  • All gardens and galleries will be closed for this event.
  • Free parking in main parking lot.
  • Please check the weather prior and dress accordingly.
  • Restrooms will be available for public use in the Library.
  • Cancellation Policy: No refunds. Tickets are transferable and will be accepted only on the specified date reserved.
