Nova Community Arts, an LA-based nonprofit art studio, leads this hands-on bookmaking workshop where participants will draw inspiration from The Huntington’s Library collections as they make an accordion-style artist book. After exploring Library objects, participants will return to the classroom, where they will cut, wrap, and glue their books to fill them with drawings, poetry, or any inspiration that comes to mind. This workshop is perfect for bookbinding beginners; no prior experience is needed.
