Flower Arranging: Woodland Ferns + Dried Flowers “Bring-a-Buddy”

Join Flower Duet for a hands-on flower arranging workshop inspired by the lush ferns in The Huntington’s Jungle Garden. Participants will create a beautiful floral design using ferns, dried flowers, roses, chrysanthemums, and other fresh flowers.

With expert guidance from Flower Duet, learn how to create a stunning floral arrangement inspired by the lush ferns in The Huntington’s Jungle Garden. You’ll learn to recognize the freshest flowers, how to care for them, and how to create a beautiful display. Participants will then arrange their own set of premium-quality flowers to create a stunning bouquet to bring home.

Key Details

  • All supplies and materials are included for two participants to complete one arrangement together.
  • Registration includes free admission to The Huntington after the class.
  • Workshop will be held completely indoors.

Day of Program

  • Please bring registration confirmation with you.
  • Check in with Education staff at Admission window #10 at 12:30 p.m.

About the Instructors

Flower Duet was founded by sisters Casey (Coleman) Schwartz and Kit (Coleman) Wertz in 1999. They started the floral design company as a part-time weekend business after Casey had retired from designing flowers on luxury cruise ships around the world and Kit had immersed herself in floral design courses for a few years. They love creating custom wedding flowers for all types of brides and grooms; directing corporate team-building reward events for such companies as BMW, Mattel, Universal Studios, the NFL, and Fabletics; and teaching flower arranging to budding floral designers and dedicated floral enthusiasts.
