Join docents from the Gamble House in Pasadena as they host drop-in talks about the furniture commissioned for the Thorsen House in Berkeley, California.
Lectures

The furniture designed for the Thorsen House in Berkeley, California, represents one of Greene & Greene’s more significant commissions outside of Pasadena and features some of their most compelling and detailed wood inlay work. Join Gamble House docents in The Huntington’s Greene & Greene Gallery for a guided exploration of the Thorsen’s inlaid library table, and hear the story of the house’s odyssey from a family home to a fraternity house since the 1940s.

Informal drop-in talks take place at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
