We can learn plenty about a person’s identity by slowing down and looking closely at their portrait. In this Saturday workshop, discover engagement strategies to encourage your students to look closely at portraits and explore the topic of identity using a See-Think-Do framework. Leave with a classroom activity and a poster of Thomas Gainsborough’s portrait Karl Frederich Abel.
This workshop aligns with our curriculum video series Close Looking at the H.
