Sarah Keyes, assistant professor of history at the University of Nevada, Reno, specializes in the 19th century and the history of the U.S. West, with a focus on the environment and intercultural interactions between Indigenous peoples and Euro-Americans.

Peter Blodgett is a historian of the U.S. West and the former H. Russell Smith Foundation Curator of Western Historical Manuscripts at The Huntington.
