This new photography program invites guests to slow down and view the landscape of The Huntington through a camera lens.

On this guided morning walk through gardens and galleries at The Huntington, participants will use photography as a lens for enhancing spatial awareness and viewing the world in new ways. Whether you’re a professional or a hobbyist, and whether you use a smartphone or analog camera, all photography levels and camera formats are welcome. This Saturday session will take participants around the Library, Huntington Art Gallery, and Shakespeare Garden, focusing the lens on architecture, landscape, form, and story.
About the Instructor:
This session reflects the Burntsienna Field Research practice of slow observation and is facilitated by Jason E.C. Wright, an educator, photographer, and director at the Burntsienna Research Society.
Key Details:
Suitable for all levels. No previous photography experience necessary.
All types of cameras are welcome.
This is a two-hour outdoor walking program that will take place on paved paths and grass. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Please check in with Education staff at Admission window #10 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
