Taste of Art: The Petit Four
The history of French pastries is closely tied to the royal courts of France, where master pastry chefs created intricate and delicate confections for the elite. Join Maite Gomez-Rejon of ArtBites to trace the evolution of French pastries from the Middle Ages through the French Revolution. Discuss the role sugar and spices played in the evolution of pastries, make Renaissance sugar sculptures, and prepare petit fours for your upcoming holiday table.
