Music and picnic season is back! Contributor-level Members and above have four opportunities to explore the gardens, picnic, and take in live music with performances by The Neighborhood Orchestra with Annie Gonzalez, Irie Earth Band, Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea, and KCRW’s DJ Wyldeflower.

2024 Summer Lineup

June 29 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
The Neighborhood Orchestra with Annie Gonzalez | 7–8 p.m.

This eclectic ensemble is known for blending jazz, Afrobeat, and R&B into contemporary vibrancy.

July 13 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Irie Earth Band | 7–8 p.m.

Enjoy the island vibes of this jammin’ steel drum band with Caribbean favorites from Trinidad and Tobago to Jamaica.

July 27 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea | 7–8 p.m.

This innovative all-women group features sophisticated and smooth music ranging from mariachi classics to jazz and pop.

Aug. 10 | 6:30–9:30 p.m.
DJ Wyldeflower | 7:30–9:30 p.m.

With a global array of rhythms and sounds, embark on a sonic journey with timeless hits from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.

Huntington Members at the Contributor level and above are invited to this event. Ticket benefits vary by level:

  • Contributor level: 2 Members (free) and 2 guests at $35 each; 4 adults total
  • Affiliate level: 2 Members (free) and 2 guests at $35 each; 4 adults total
  • Supporting level: 2 Members (free) and 2 guests at $35 each; 4 adults total
  • Patron level: 2 Members (free), 2 free guests, and 2 paid guests at $35 each; 6 adults total
  • Benefactor level: 2 Members (free), 2 free guests, and 2 paid guests at $35 each; 6 adults total
  • Society of Fellows households: 2 Fellows (free), 4 free guests, and 6 paid guests at $35 each

No Guest Passes will be accepted for this event.

Members’ children (or grandchildren) 18 and under are free. Please reserve a child ticket for all children in your party.

Gardens and Shopping

Enjoy a leisurely walk in most of the gardens while you wait for the music to start. The Conservatory, Children’s Garden, Library, and art galleries will be closed during these evenings.

The Huntington Store will be open until 7 p.m. on June 29, July 13, and July 27. On Aug. 10, the Store will be open until 8 p.m.

Food and Drink

Outside alcohol is not permitted. Members may bring their own picnics, but alcohol must be purchased on-site. The 1919 Cafe will be open for dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase at the event.
