Rose Garden Tea Room

The Huntington's iconic, historic Rose Garden Tea Room is now open.

The Rose Garden Tea Room continues its elegant tea service with a selection of teas, seasonal house-made scones, and a variety of savory and sweet offerings, including smoked salmon with dill cream cheese and caviar; Belgian chocolate and sea salt caramel tart; and ginger cake with quince compote. A higher-end option includes champagne and such items as poached Maine lobster roll with Hawaiian black sea salt and micro celery. Vegan, gluten-free, and children's menus are also available, along with additions, and Champagne, wine, and cocktails by the glass.

Know Before You Go

Huntington Admission Required

  • Visiting the Rose Garden Tea Room requires purchasing admission to The Huntington. When planning to visit the Tea Room, please purchase a separate ticket to The Huntington for the same day as your Tea Room reservation.

Tea Room Reservations

  • Reservations may be made online through OpenTable for parties of up to six guests. Parties with more than six guests must contact the Tea Room directly at tearoom@huntington.org. (Please do not divide your party into multiple reservations, as each OpenTable reservation will be treated as individual and will not guarantee adjacent tables.) Reservation policy for large groups

  • Reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-ins are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis but are not guaranteed. Please note we are unable to accommodate late parties at our last seating.

  • Online reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance.

  • There is a 10-minute grace period for reservations. After 10 minutes your reservation will be released to waiting walk-ins.
