Ecologically informed methods of urban agriculture can make your life easier and create a healthier, more diverse garden. Two techniques you might want to implement are to add native plants that attract pollinators or to interplant your herbs with fruit trees. Scott Kleinrock, project coordinator for the Huntington Ranch, will describe his ongoing research to develop locally adapted methods for urban gardeners. The talk is free and open to the public and takes place in Friends' Hall on June 28 at 7:30 pm.
