Join Chinese brush painting instructor Peifang Liang for a hands-on workshop honoring the Year of the Dragon.
Classes

Learn about the Chinese zodiac and the traditions of this exciting worldwide holiday while using traditional Chinese brush painting materials to create a masterpiece of your own. Recommended for ages 6–12 with an accompanying adult. Every attendee must purchase a ticket (includes one seat and access to materials).

  • All ages welcome, but workshop instruction is recommended for children ages 6–12. 
  • Fee includes the use of painting supplies for one child and one accompanying adult, as well as admission to The Huntington.
  • You may also purchase your own Chinese Brush Painting Kit to use during class and take home for $15.99. (Painting kits available as an add-on when registering. Kits will be distributed at the beginning of class.)

Optional: Purchase your own kit to take home for $15.99.
Chinese Brush Painting Kit includes:
● 2 brushes
● 1 brush rest
● 1 ink bottle (50 mL)
● 1 ink dish
● 1 rewritable scroll
