Portrait Photography

Personal Portrait Photography is posing for photos when the product will be for your personal, private use only. That includes couples, engagement, wedding, group and class photos; quinceañera, graduation, and senior pictures; maternity, baby, and family portraits; and similar occasions. This applies even when the photographer is a friend, family member, or other nonprofessional, paid or not.

Photos for blogs, websites, and social media platforms; headshots; and portfolio work are not considered personal portraits and must be arranged separately. Commercial Still Photography requirements will apply. Visit FilmHuntington.org for more information.

Important Information

• All Personal Portrait Sessions require an appointment and a preassigned Huntington escort, and must be reserved at least 30 days in advance.
• Session reservations are accepted up to 6–12 months out and are subject to availability.
• Sessions can last up to 3 hours and may begin as early as 8 a.m. or as late as 3 ½ hours before sunset.
• All outdoor gardens that are open to the general public are available; specific gardens cannot be reserved.
• No interiors available.

Pricing

Additional fees apply to larger groups and more complex arrangements. Sessions do not include golf carts. If your photographer is already on our approved list, it may be possible to book with fewer than 30 days’ notice, subject to availability. Fees are subject to change without notice.

Base Fee	$1,200	5 or fewer	This covers a group of 5 or fewer including the photographer, is for still photos only, and includes the required city permit and Huntington escort. Additional fees apply to larger groups and more complex arrangements. A separate, refundable security deposit (usually $300) is also required. Fees are subject to change without notice.
Groups	+$125 +$250 +$375 +$500	6–10 11–15 16–20 21–25	Group maximum is 25 including photographer, videographer, photo assistant, and any other helpers. There is a limit of one still photographer and one non-shooting assistant per session.
Video	+$250		You may bring one videographer and one video camera only.
Golf Cart	+$250		Sessions do not include golf carts. Price includes a Huntington driver. Note that only one cart is available.
Rush Fee*	+$27 +$150		City permit rush fee. Huntington rush booking fee. * May apply to any session reservation made less than 30 days from the reservation date.
